The West Live: Aviation editor Geoffrey Thomas to discuss coronavirus impact the future of travel in Australia

 The full extent of the COVID-19 crisis on Australia's airline industry has been revealed after Qantas announced it had crashed to a "devastating" $2.7 billion loss yesterday.


The West Australian’s aviation editor Geoffrey Thomas will join The West Live host Jenna Clarke this morning to discuss the future of an industry riding its worst turbulence in its 100-year history.


The national airline posted a $2.7b statutory loss before tax, mainly on non-cash writedowns, with revenue down $4b in the last six months of the year.
