Warne’s radical plan to solve Sydney New Year’s Test problem at first-time venue

 Spin legend Shane Warne has put forward a radical solution to solve Cricket Australia’s latest Covid-19 headache.


The governing body is in the final stages of deciding where the third Test will be played, with Foxsports.com.au understanding a decision will be made within the next 48 hours.


Warne, who will lead Fox Cricket’s Boxing Day Test coverage alongside Adam Gilchrist from Saturday, believes Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium is fit to host an international five-day match.
